CORPS SEEKS VOLUNTEERS AND SPONSORS FOR GREERS FERRY LAKE & LITTLE RED RIVER 46TH ANNUAL CLEANUP
HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – The Greers Ferry Lake and Little Red River Association along with and the Army Corps of Engineers are seeking volunteers and sponsors to pitch in from 8 to 11 a.m. Sept. 12 during the 46th Annual Greers Ferry Lake and Little Red River Cleanup.

ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 178 BRIDGE ACROSS BULL SHOALS DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE FOR BRIDGE INSPECTION
Mountain Home, Ark. – One lane of Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam will close at 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Thursday to allow Corps officials to conduct an annual bridge and roadway inspection.

LOCK TO CLOSE FOR MAINTENANCE
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers will close Murray Lock on the Arkansas River from midnight Sunday, Aug. 30 through Sep. 4, so workers can “dewater” it to assess and repair the downstream lock gates.
