  • MILLWOOD LAKE’S BEARD’S BLUFF AND COTTONSHED PARKS NOW RESERVABLE

    ASHDOWN, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Millwood Project Office announces that campsites at Beard’s Lake and Cottonshed parks on Millwood Lake will be reservable beginning March 1. Campers can reserve a site online at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. Visitors can make reservations at the park beginning March 1.
  • ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 177 ACROSS NORFORK DAM TO CLOSE FOR DAM MAINTENANCE

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – One lane of Highway 177 across Norfork Lake will be closed at 7 a.m. March 2 and remain closed through November to conduct maintenance on the dam’s 12 tainter gates.
  • HIGHWAY ACROSS TABLE ROCK DAM CLOSED MARCH 3

    BRANSON, Mo. – Highway 165/265 between Table Rock Lake’s dam and spillway will be closed from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. March 3 to install a new generator in Table Rock Dam.
  • NAV NOTICE SWL 15-05 Traffic Across the Navigation Channel Between NM 23 and NM 24

    MKARNS - Mariners are advised to use caution while transiting NM 23 through NM 24. Contractors for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will be transporting dredged material by barge across the channel in this area.
  • PARTNERS CREATE FISH HABITAT ON GREERS FERRY LAKE

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – Army Corps of Engineers, local partners and volunteers recently completed placing new fish structures in Greers Ferry Lake to provide additional habitat for the fishery.
  • CORPS SETS SCOPING WORKSHOPS FOR TABLE ROCK SHORELINE MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE

    BRANSON, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers is hosting the Table Rock Lake Shoreline Management Plan scoping workshops March 26-28 to share information about the update process and to collect public comments concerning shoreline activity around the lake.
  • MKARNS NAV Notice SWL 15-04 Postponement of lock closure Dardanelle Lock and Dam (No. 10) NM 205.5

    Dardanelle L&D - Due to hazardous working conditions, the scheduled closure of Dardanelle Lock and Dam (No. 10) NM 205.5, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m today, is being postponed to a later date. A separate Navigation Notice will be issued once repair to the downstream river wall miter gate strut arm is rescheduled.
  • CORPS PLANS PRESCRIBED BURNS

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – Personnel from the Army Corps of Engineers Mountain Home Project Office and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will be conducting prescribed burns on Corps land surrounding Bull Shoals and Norfork lakes. Prescribed burns will be conducted, when weather conditions are favorable, until the first week of April.
  • CORPS ANNOUNCES OPEN HOUSES FOR MASTER PLAN REVISIONS

    ROGERS, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will hold three public open houses March 10-12 in Fayetteville, Rogers and Eureka Springs to discuss the master plan update process and seek input from the public on the draft Beaver Lake Master Plan. All interested persons are invited.
  • ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 178 BRIDGE ACROSS BULL SHOALS DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE FOR EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION

    Mountain Home, Ark. – One lane of Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam will be closed at 6:30 a.m. each Monday and remain closed until 5 p.m. each Thursday except federal holidays beginning Tuesday, Feb. 10 until Feb. 20 for equipment installation. Both lanes will be open Friday thru Sunday.
