CORPS TO ISSUE SPECIAL PERMITS TO 8 YOUNG DEER HUNTERS
ASHDOWN, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers is taking applications from hunters ages 6-15 who want to participate in a special deer hunt Nov. 7 at Millwood Lake. Eight permits will be issued to young hunters who seek to experience the outdoors and have a great place to hunt that is normally closed to hunting.

HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – One lane of Highway 25 across Greers Ferry Dam will close temporarily beginning at 7 a.m. Oct. 5 through January 2016 while work on the dam’s turbine intake gates is performed.
