MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Mountain Home Project Office is temporarily closing Dam Site Park boat launch ramp on Bull Shoals Lake because of underwater hazards close to the launch area.

Alternate launch sites are Point Return Park or Lakeview Park boat ramps. Corps personnel will reevaluate the condition of Dam Site Park launch once the lake level recedes to elevation 674 feet.  Bull Shoals Lake’s current elevation is 680.4 feet.

Lake users should continue to use caution at flooded swim beaches, boat launch ramps and all the access roads around the lake until water levels have receded to a more normal level.
