National Public Lands Day Scheduled at Bona Dea Trails and Sanctuary

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers is closing Bona Dea Trails and Sanctuary, including the Washburn trailhead, for trail maintenance from 7 a.m. until noon Saturday, Sept. 26.

 

Volunteers will conduct the maintenance activities in conjunction with National Public Lands Day.

National Public Lands Day, held the fourth Saturday in September, is an annual nationwide event that allows thousands of volunteers from all walks of life to give back to national, state and local lands.
