    Corps begins inspections, repairs to Bona Dea Park and Wildlife Sanctuary

    RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Russellville Site Office advises the public that recent flooding has damaged many bridges at Bona Dea Park and Wildlife Sanctuary.

    MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 16-02 Lock 13 - Reopened

    MKARNS - The James W. Trimble Lock (No. 13) NM 292.8 has reopened to Navigation traffic. The lock was closed due to high flows on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. The flows have now dropped to safe levels to operate the lock.

    Corps lifts Bull Shoals Lake shoreline moratorium

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Mountain Home Project Office will begin accepting shoreline permit requests Jan. 4, 2016. The Corps suspended shoreline activity requests May 23, 2014 to establish a baseline of the lake while revising its 40-year-old master plan. The revised master plan will be released in January 2016.

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers, Mountain Home Project Office will hold three public workshops in January 2016, to unveil the final revised Bull Shoals Lake Master Plan. All interested persons are invited.

    MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 16-01 Lock 2 - Closure

    MKARNS - Lock No. 2 (NM 13.3) will experience intermittent closures on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System on Tuesday, Jan. 5, lasting a few hours at a time. The lock will be closed to all navigation traffic beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6.
