    Montgomery Point L&D - Mariners were notified in Navigation Notice SWL 14-39 of a plan to raise and exercise the navigation pass crest gates when the tailwater reached elevation 117’ and falling.

    Corps reminds visitors, lakeside residents of regulations at Greers Ferry Lake

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. -- Army Corps of Engineers officials ask those living near Greers Ferry Lake to avoid unauthorized work on public property. They also remind lake users and landowners adjacent to the lake that tying up boats along the shoreline and operating vehicles off authorized roadways on public property is prohibited.

    MKARNS - Due to shallow pool conditions, mariners are advised that until further notice, both upbound and downbound tows should stay approximately 150 feet away from the red/nun buoys while between NM 46.4 and NM 47.4.

    CORPS TO ISSUE SPECIAL PERMITS TO 8 YOUNG DEER HUNTERS

    ASHDOWN, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers is taking applications from hunters ages 6-15 who want to participate in a special deer hunt Nov. 7 at Millwood Lake. Eight permits will be issued to young hunters who seek to experience the outdoors and have a great place to hunt that is normally closed to hunting.
