    CORPS CHRISTENED NEW TOWBOAT AT CEREMONY

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers christened its new state-of-the-art towboat, the Motor Vessel Dan Reeves today below the Big Dam Bridge at Murray Lock and Dam.

    CORPS BEGINS RELEASES THROUGH SPILLWAY AT TABLE ROCK DAM WHILE ONE HYDROPOWER UNIT UNDERGOES MAINTENANCE

    BRANSON, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will open five spillway gates today at Table Rock Dam to supplement hydropower turbine releases as it lowers the lake.

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers will close one lane of Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam from 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. March 17 for hatch cover maintenance.

    Corps issues small craft advisory for Arkansas River

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers issued a small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Recent heavy rains caused flows to rise. During high flows, strong currents and large debris can threaten the safety of pleasure craft.
