    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Mountain Home Project Office announces that the Highway 125 swim beach has been retested and officials have determined that it is safe for public use.

    RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Russellville Site Office announced that Shoal Bay and Piney Bay swim beaches have been retested and officials have determined that it is safe for public use.

    CORPS CLOSES JEFFERSON RIDGE CAMPGROUND ENTRANCE DURING CULVERT REPLACEMENT

    DIERKS, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Millwood Tri-Lakes Project Office will close the entrance road into Jefferson Ridge Campground at 7 a.m. Thursday, June 16 to replace a culvert on the main entrance road.

    MKARNS - Tow haulage equipment at David D. Terry Lock (No. 6) is out of service. Double cut tows will have to be locked the conventional way (without the use of tow haulage). The length of downtime is currently unknown.

    BOUNDARY LINE MAINTENANCE TO BE CONDUCTED ON BULL SHOALS LAKE

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers is advising landowners adjacent to public lands on Bull Shoals Lake that work crews will soon conduct boundary line maintenance along a 20-mile section starting north of Tucker Hollow Park and along the south and north banks of Bear Creek to the Missouri state line.

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers has extended the closure of one lane of Highway 177 across Norfork Lake, through July 30, to conduct maintenance on the dam’s two power plant penstock gates.

    CORPS LIFTS SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR ARKANSAS RIVER

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers has lifted the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second. Even though flows have receded below that threshold, Corps officials urge boaters to always use caution when on the river.
