    OAKLAND PARK SWIM BEACH ON BULL SHOALS LAKE CLEARED OF HIGH E. COLI LEVELS

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Mountain Home Project Office announced that Oakland Park swim beach has been cleared of higher than acceptable E. coli levels.

    CORPS CLOSES OAKLAND SWIM BEACH ON BULL SHOALS LAKE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Mountain Home Project Office has closed Oakland swim beach on Bull Shoals Lake until further notice. The temporary closure is the result of higher than acceptable E. coli levels that were found during routine testing conducted by the Arkansas Department of Health. Swimming is not recommended in areas with high bacteria levels.

    HAVANA, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Nimrod-Blue Mountain Project Office has closed Waveland Park swim beach on Blue Mountain Lake until further notice. The temporary closure is the result of higher than acceptable E. coli levels that were found during routine testing conducted by the Arkansas Department of Health. Swimming is not recommended in areas with high bacteria levels.

    CORPS REOPENS THREE SWIM BEACHES AT GREERS FERYY LAKE

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Greers Ferry Project Office has reopened Dam Site, Choctaw and Hill Creek swim beaches. The swim beaches were temporary closed because of higher than acceptable E. coli levels that were found during routine testing conducted by the Arkansas Department of Health.

    ROGERS, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers is urging all visitors to Beaver Lake to exercise extreme caution while levels are high. Campers, swimmers, and boaters visiting park areas should use extreme caution and be aware that certain recreation areas may be closed to the public for their protection.
