    CORPS SETS SCOPING WORKSHOPS FOR BULL SHOALS LAKE SHORELINE MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers is hosting Bull Shoals Lake Shoreline Management Plan scoping workshops Aug. 8-12 to share information about the update process and to collect public comments concerning shoreline activity around the lake.

    CORPS EXTENDS CLOSURE OF ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 177 ACROSS NORFORK DAM FOR MAINTENANCE

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers has extended the closure of one lane of Highway 177 across Norfork Lake, through Aug. 15, to conduct maintenance on the dam’s two power plant penstock gates.

    CORPS TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE OKAY LANDING BOAT RAMP

    ASHDOWN, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers, Millwood Tri-Lakes Project Office is temporarily closing the Okay Landing boat ramp because of low lake levels. The current lake levels are not high enough to safely launch boats and navigate around the Okay Landing ramp and access area.

    MKARNS - Mariners are advised that Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5 will be closed to navigation traffic July 20 through July 23 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.

    CORPS HOSTS YOUTH FISHING DERBY AT WILLOW BEACH PARK

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers invites youth 15 and under to participate in a free fishing derby at Willow Beach Park, just off of the Arkansas River. The derby will be held from 9 a.m. until noon, July 23. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
