    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Greers Ferry Lake Project Office advises landowners adjacent to public lands on Greers Ferry Lake that contract maintenance crews will be conducting boundary line maintenance along an 85-mile section of government boundary.
  • Additional Work Affecting One Lane Traffic Across Greers Ferry Dam

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – One lane of traffic across Greers Ferry Dam is closed until the end of January 2016 while work is performed on the dam’s turbine intake gates. Additional work to repair the dam’s monolith joints will begin Monday Nov. 16 which will require a lane shift.

  • Winter Camping Opportunities at Greers Ferry Lake

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – As winter approaches, the Army Corps of Engineers will continue to provide camping opportunities from Nov. 1 through March 14, 2016 on Greers Ferry Lake. Winter campsites with electricity and flush toilets will be available at Dam Site, John F. Kennedy, Devils Fork, and Choctaw parks. These campsites will be available on a first come, first served basis and camping fees will be collected.

    RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Russellville Site Office announces road maintenance beginning Monday, Nov. 2 in areas of Old Post Road Park effecting parts of Lock and Dam Road and Sheppard Drive. Weather permitting, work is expected to be complete by Nov. 16.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark – The Army Corps of Engineers will hold a public workshop to provide details on the completion of a munitions remedial action at the former Camp Robinson. The workshop will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29 at the Hampton Inn conference room, 810 Museum Rd, Conway, Ark.
