    A Military River Crossing Exercise is scheduled to occur August 7 through August 14, 2024, between NM 289.0 and NM 292.8 (James W. Trimble Lock & Dam, No. 13).

    Mariners are advised that the Van Buren Railroad Drawbridge (NM 300.8) will be out of service on August 10, 2024 and August 11, 2024, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day.

    USACE announces location change for the Beaver Lake land acquisition willing seller meeting

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting a willing seller meeting to discuss the potential purchase of low-lying property surrounding Beaver Lake which is either constantly or periodically inundated. The meeting will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. July 30, 2024, at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, J.B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Ozark Highlands Nature Center, 3400 N 40th Street, Springdale, Arkansas.

    MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 24-56 Lock 10 Scheduled Closure Notice Update

    The partial lock closure for Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5, as stated in Nav Notice SWL 23-31, is being postponed. The partial lock closure will now take place from July 30th, 2024, through September 30th, 2024, Monday through Saturday each week.

    Mariners should expect to experience intermittent delays at Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 on July 11, 2024 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The intermittent delays are required to facilitate repairs to the hydraulic system.
