    USACE closes Waveland Park swim beaches until further notice

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Blue Mountain Lake Field Office is closing the swim beach at Waveland Park until further notice.

    MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 24-45 Caution Advisory I-30 Bridge NM 118.5

    Mariners are advised that a hydro demolition project is scheduled for a section of the I-30 Bridge, NM 118.5. During this time an onsite work boat will be directing traffic to a specific side of the navigation channel.

    ROGERS, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Beaver Lake Project Office is closing swim beaches at Hickory Creek, Horseshoe Bend Campground, Indian Creek, Lost Bridge South, Prairie Creek, Rocky Branch Day Use, Rocky Branch Campground, Dam Site Island, War Eagle and Horseshoe Bend Day Use Area until further notice.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a small craft advisory for the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System in Arkansas. Heavy rainfall in Eastern Oklahoma over the last two days resulted in Arkansas River flows exceeding 70,000 cubic feet per second at Dardanelle.
