    Greers Ferry automates day use fee collections

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Greers Ferry Project Office would like to remind visitors that many of their parks and day use areas have transitioned to automated fee collection machines.

    USACE seeks volunteers for cleanup at Millwood Lake

    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Millwood Lake Project Office will host a shoreline cleanup as part of the Great American Cleanup, on May 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cleanup will be held in cooperation with Millwood Lake State Park. Volunteers interested in assisting should check in between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at the Millwood Overlook located at 1140 Hwy 32 East, Saratoga AR, 71859.

    May 22-27 declared as Safe Boating Week in Arkansas

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District in partnership with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and the Coast Guard Auxiliary attended a Safe Boating Week Proclamation ceremony where Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson declared May 22-27 as Safe Boating Week in the Natural State.

    MKARNS - Toad Suck Ferry Lock (No. 8) NM 155.9 will be closed to navigation traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m, Apr 26. Arthur V. Ormond Lock (No. 9) NM 176.9 will be closed to navigation traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m, Apr 27.

    USACE’s Little Rock District to receive $168.5 million additional Infrastructure Investment and Job Act funds for FY22 and 23

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District is receiving an additional $168.5 million from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that will be used for the district’s civil works program during fiscal year 2023.
