    USACE releases the final revisions of the Nimrod Lake and Blue Mountain Lake Master Plans

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has released the final revision of the Nimrod Lake and Blue Mountain Lake Master Plans, along with the related environmental assessments and finding of no significant impact documents.     MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 24-77 MPLD NavPass Open

    Due to increased river elevations, the crest gate dam at Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5) is lowered and the navigation pass is open. When the Montgomery Point Lock and Dam tailwater elevation drops below 115 ft., the navigation pass will be closed.

    USACE cautions lake users on low water conditions at Greers Ferry Lake

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is cautioning boaters about low water conditions at Greers Ferry Lake. With inflows being low, the lake level is currently around an elevation of 456 feet. Although low, this is within the normal operation of the reservoir.

    MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 24-74 Lock 9 Tow Haulage Out of Service

    The tow haulage equipment at Ormond Lock (No. 9) NM 176.9 is currently out of service due to electrical issues. Double cut tows will have to be locked the conventional way (without the use of tow haulage). A follow up notice will be distributed when the tow haulage equipment is back in service.
