MILITARY EXERCISE
MCCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER NAVIGATION SYSTEM
A Military River Crossing Exercise is scheduled to occur August 7 through August 14, 2024, between NM 289.0 and NM 292.8 (James W. Trimble Lock & Dam, No. 13). The exercise is scheduled to take place daily between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Mariners are advised to use extreme caution when transiting the area. Additionally, mariners should expect delays on August 12, 2024 between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. while military equipment may impede the navigation channel. Mariners are advised to contact James W. Trimble Lock and Dam on VHF-FM Channel 16 or by phone at (479) 452-0488 for further information.
