    ASHDOWN, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers’ Millwood Lake Project Office will suspend shoreline activity requests beginning Jan. 1, 2020 to establish a baseline of the lake for officials to use while revising its 45-year-old master plan and 7-year-old shoreline management plan.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers has lifted the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Small-craft advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second. While flows have receded, Corps officials urge boaters to always use caution when on the river.

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. –The Army Corps of Engineers will temporarily close both lanes of the Highway 177 Bridge over Norfork Dam from 8 a.m. Dec. 16 until 5 p.m. Dec. 18. Both lanes will close to allow for the installation of equipment used to maintain the dam’s sluice gates.
