    TOAD SUCK FERRY L&D - Mariners are advised that lockages at Toad Suck Ferry Lock (No. 8) NM 155.9, will require an additional 15 minutes each time the lock level is raised to the upstream water level. One of the two valves that fills the lock to the upstream water level failed, and the additional time reflects use of one valve instead of two. The length of downtime is unknown at this time.

    MKARNS - The Mississippi River Commission will be conducting an inspection of the MKARNS aboard the M/V Mississippi. The M/V Mississippi is scheduled to enter the MKARNS at the mouth of the White River on August 5th and proceed upstream to the Port of Muskogee (NM 393.8). The downstream trip will commence on August 11th at the Port of Muskogee and proceed downstream and exit the MKARNS on August 14th.
