This mostly hard-surfaced trail system passes through the Prairie Creek floodplain, and was designed as a jogging and fitness trail set amidst a wildlife sanctuary. It offers folks in the river valley six miles of winding trails through 186 acres of low wetlands that are home to a wide variety of wildlife.

Corps begins inspections, repairs to Bona Dea Park and Wildlife Sanctuary

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Russellville Site Office advises the public that recent flooding has damaged many bridges at Bona Dea Park and Wildlife Sanctuary.

Bridges will be closed while inspections and repairs or reconstruction takes place. The public is urged to use caution when frequenting any area that has been recently flooded.

Officials from the Army Corps of Engineers Russellville Site Office regret any inconvenience this may cause.
