MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 16-03 Locks 4 and 7 - Reopened

LOCKS REOPENED

EMMETT SANDERS LOCK (No. 4) NM 66.0

MURRAY (No. 7) NM 125.4

MCCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER NAVIGATION SYSTEM

The Emmett Sanders Lock (No. 4) NM 66.0 and Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 have reopened to Navigation traffic.  The locks were closed due to high flows on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System.  The flows have now dropped to safe levels to operate the locks.
