Corps issues small craft advisory for Arkansas River
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers issued a small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Recent heavy rains caused flows to rise. During high flows, strong currents and large debris can threaten the safety of pleasure craft.

CORPS TO CLOSE BIG DAM BRIDGE FOR INSPECTION
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District is closing the Big Dam Bridge, across Murray Lock and Dam, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. March 14 - 16 while Corps personnel conduct a routine inspection of the bridge.

CORPS ISSUES REMINDER OF PUBLIC WORKSHOPS FOR BEAVER LAKE MASTER PLAN AND SHORELINE MANAGEMENT PLAN REVISIONS
ROGERS, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers is hosting three drop-in public workshops March 15-17 in Fayetteville, Eureka Springs and Bentonville to discuss the Beaver Lake Master Plan and Shoreline Management Plan revision process and seek input from the public. All interested persons are invited.

CORPS TO BEGIN SCHEDULED DRAWDOWN AT NIMROD LAKE
PLAINVIEW, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers will begin a drawdown of Lake Nimrod March 15 in an effort to improve aquatic vegetation, as well as make repairs to the dam, boat launch ramps and swim beaches.

ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 178 BRIDGE ACROSS BULL SHOALS DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE
MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers will close one lane of Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam from 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. March 7 for hatch cover maintenance.
