USACE issues small craft advisory

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -‑ The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District is issuing a small craft advisory for the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System in Arkansas. Rainfall in eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas over the last 24-hours is causing flows on the system to rise.

USACE lifts small craft advisory for Arkansas River

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lifts the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Small-craft advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second. While flows have receded, USACE officials urge boaters to always use caution when on the river.
