    CORPS TO BEGIN RELEASES THROUGH SPILLWAY

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will begin a spillway release from Greers Ferry Dam tomorrow.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers issued a small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Recent heavy rains caused flows to rise. During high flows, strong currents and large debris can threaten the safety of pleasure craft.

    CORPS REOPENS COMMENT PERIOD FOR TABLE ROCK SHORELINE MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE

    BRANSON, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers is reopening the public comment period for Table Rock Lake’s Shoreline Management Plan revision. The additional comment period will begin Nov. 30 and run through Dec. 31.

    Corps lifts small craft advisory for Arkansas River

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers has lifted the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second. Even though flows have receded below that threshold, Corps officials urge boaters to always use caution when on the river.

    ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 178 BRIDGE ACROSS BULL SHOALS DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE FOR GATE REHAB

    Mountain Home, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers will close one lane of Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam Nov. 30 and then close both lanes Dec. 1-2 to install equipment needed to refurbish the tainter gates on Bull Shoals Dam. Once the necessary equipment is in place, one lane will be open while work is performed.

    MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 15-78 Lock 13 Daily Closures Extended for Repairs

    James W. Trimble L&D (No. 13) - Mariners are advised that James W. Trimble Lock and Dam (No. 13) NM 292.8 will continue to be closed to navigation traffic on November 6th, 7th and 8th from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Additional time is required for the repair of the downstream miter gates.
