MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 15-78 Lock 13 Daily Closures Extended for Repairs

NOTICE OF DAILY LOCK CLOSURE - UPDATE

                                                                 JAMES W. TRIMBLE LOCK AND DAM (NO. 13) NM 292.8

                                                       MCCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER NAVIGATION SYSTEM

Mariners are advised that James W. Trimble Lock and Dam (No. 13) NM 292.8 will continue to be closed to navigation traffic on November 6^th, 7^th and 8th from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.   Additional time is required for the repair of the downstream miter gates.  If the work is completed ahead of schedule, the lock will reopen at that time.   However, unforeseen problems could require additional time.

Lock Operators may be contacted via radio on Channel 16 or by phone (479) 452-0488 in advance of arrival to be advised of current conditions.
