Corps issues small craft advisory for Arkansas River
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers issued a small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Recent heavy rains caused flows to rise. During high flows, strong currents and large debris can threaten the safety of pleasure craft.

ROGERS, Ark. – One lane of Arkansas Highway 187 bridge across Beaver Dam will be closed for 7:30 a.m. till 5 p.m. April 20-23 to conduct maintenance on the dam.

BRANSON, Mo. -- The Army Corps of Engineers Dewey Short Visitor Center at Table Rock Lake is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. An indoor water safety area, is available through the month of May, during normal visitor center hours.

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – One lane of Highway 177 across Norfork Lake will close at noon April 11 and remain closed through June 15 to conduct maintenance on the dam’s two power plant penstock gates.
