    CORPS CAUTIONS LAKESIDE RESIDENTS ABOUT SPRING CLEANING

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers is reminding all persons with property bordering public land around Greers Ferry Lake to know where the property line is and avoid “spring cleaning” on government land.

    HIGHWAY 25 BRIDGE ACROSS GREERS FERRY DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers will close both lanes of Highway 25 across Greers Ferry Dam from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. April 15 and 16, weather permitting, to install equipment needed to refurbish the tainter gates. However, one lane will open each night from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. Alternative route will be Highways 16 and 92 around the west side of the lake.

    ASHDOWN, Ark. – One lane of Highway 32 bridge across Millwood Dam will be closed for routine bridge inspection from 7 a.m. till 5 p.m. March 21.

    MKARNS - Mariners are advised that intermittent availability of tow haulage equipment and intermittent lockage delays at Dardanelle Lock and Dam (No. 10) NM 205.5 may be experienced Mar 15 through Mar 27.

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers will close both lanes of Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. March 13 and 14, weather permitting, to install equipment needed to refurbish the tainter gates on Bull Shoals Dam. However, one lane will remain closed from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. each day.
