    CORPS TO ISSUE SPECIAL PERMITS TO 4 YOUTH DEER HUNTERS

    DIERKS, Ark. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is taking applications from hunters ages 6-15 who want to participate in a special deer hunt Nov. 2 at Dierks Lake. Four permits will be issued to young hunters who seek to experience the outdoors and have a great place to hunt that is normally closed to hunting.

    HIGHWAY 32 ACROSS MILLWOOD DAM TO CLOSE FOR REPAIRS

    ASHDOWN, Ark. – One lane on Highway 32 across Millwood Dam will close at 7 p.m. Sept. 24 until 5 a.m. on Sept. 25. Both lanes will close from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sept. 25 and 26. Repairs to the bridge decking should be completed by 5 a.m. Sept. 27.

    ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 177 BRIDGE ACROSS NORFORK DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers will temporarily close one lane of Highway 177 across Norfork Dam from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sept. 24-27, weather permitting, to perform maintenance on the dam’s tainter gates.
