    SURVEY WORK SLATED FOR GREERS FERRY LAKE

    The Army Corps of Engineers advises landowners adjacent to public lands on Greers Ferry Lake that survey crews will be conducting surveys and performing boundary maintenance along several sections of government boundary in Cleburne and Van Buren counties.

    Fishing Access Road at Cooks Landing Park to be Closed During Repair

    The Army Corps of Engineers advises that the access road from Cooks Landing Park to the North Little Rock Hydroelectric Power Plant and fishing access parking lot will be closed beginning Thursday Sept. 25 for repairs.

    RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers is closing Bona Dea Trails and Sanctuary, including the Washburn trailhead, for trail maintenance from 6 a.m. until noon Saturday, Sept. 27.

    Bull Shoals Master Plan revision is underway

    The Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District continues to seek public input through Sept. 30 about the Bull Shoals Lake Master Plan revision. Comments can be submitted via email, fax or regular mail. Mailed comments must be post marked no later than Sept. 30. All public comments will be included in the master plan scoping report.

    Corps Organizing Litter Pickup for Saturday Volunteers Needed to Help Keep Norfork and Bull Shoals Lakes Beautiful

    Volunteers are needed to participate in the Corps’ annual fall litter pickup Saturday, Sept. 6. The event is held in conjunction with the Great Arkansas Cleanup, the annual fall statewide litter pickup campaign promoted by the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission.

    SEVEN PARKS TO CLOSE FOR SEASON ON TABLE ROCK LAKE

    The Army Corps of Engineers Table Rock Project Office will reduce services at seven of its parks Sept. 15 for the 2014 recreation season. These parks include Cricket Creek, Baxter, Big M, Viola, Eagle Rock, Aunts Creek, and Moonshine Beach Day Use Area. The boat launch ramp at these parks will continue to be open and area use fees will still apply.
