Corps issues small craft advisory for portion of Arkansas River

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers issues a small craft advisory for the Arkansas River downstream of Dardanelle Lock and Dam. Recent rains in Arkansas and Oklahoma have caused flows to rise. During high flows, strong currents and large debris can threaten the safety of pleasure craft.

HIGHWAY 165 BRIDGE ACROSS TABLE ROCK DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE

BRANSON, Mo. – The Corps of Engineers will close both lanes of Highway 165 across Table Rock Dam from 8 p.m. March 16 until 6 a.m. March 17 and again at 8 p.m. March 17 until 6 a.m. March 18 to install equipment needed to refurbish the dam’s head gates.

MKARNS - Starting March 18, mariners will experience intermittent delays of up to 12 hours, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, at Dardanelle Lock and Dam (No. 10) NM 205.5. These delays can be expected through late May.
