    Little Rock, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District announced today that it will waive day use fees normally charged at boat launch ramps and swimming beaches at its recreation areas in recognition of National Public Lands Day, Saturday, Sept. 22.

    MKARNS - Dardanelle Lock and Dam (No. 10) NM 205.5 will be closed to navigation traffic from Oct 31 (7 a.m.) to Nov 3 (7 a.m.) to complete electrical repairs to the lock's interlock controls.

  • CORPS DELAYS ROAD CLOSURE ACROSS BEAVER DAM UNTIL OCTOBER 2

    ROGERS, Ark. – Work on Beaver Dam in Carroll County has been delayed until Oct. 2. A section of Arkansas Highway 187 that crosses Beaver Dam is scheduled to be closed for two weeks while crews work on the dam’s intake gate rehab project.

  • CORPS TO ISSUE SPECIAL PERMITS TO 7 YOUTH DEER HUNTERS

    ASHDOWN, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers is taking applications from hunters ages 6-15 who want to participate in a special deer hunt Nov. 3 and Jan. 5, 2019 at Millwood Lake. Seven permits will be issued to young hunters who seek to experience the outdoors and have a great place to hunt that is normally closed to hunting.

Both hunts will take place Nov. 3 and Nov. 4.
