Ormond L&D - Tow haulage equipment at Arthur V. Ormond Lock (No. 9) NM 176.9 has been returned to service.

MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 15-54 Sailing Instructions NM 49.6 to NM 49.7

MKARNS - Due to shoaling, mariners are advised that until further notice, both upbound and downbound tows should favor the short wall or red/nun side of the channel from NM 49.6 to NM 49.7.

MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 15-53 Lock 09 Tow Haulage Out of Service

Ormond L&D - Tow haulage equipment at Arthur V. Ormond Lock (No. 9) NM 176.9 is out of service. Double cut tows will have to be locked the conventional way (without the use of tow haulage).

MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 15-50 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS – Multiple Locations NM 143.0 - NM 254.8

MKARNS - Due to shallow pool conditions and until further notice, mariners are advised to use caution from NM 143.0 through NM 254.8. No passing is advised while transiting through these locations. This information is based on a preliminary reconnaissance survey, and conditions may change as water flow rates reduce. Recent high water flows have also resulted in numerous buoys no longer in their original locations.

MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 15-49 Second Date Revision Temporary Suspension of Recreational Lock Closures

MKARNS - The Big Bass Bonanza fishing tournament along the Arkansas section of the Arkansas River has been rescheduled. The dates for suspension of the recreational vessel lock closures for maintenance at Locks 3-13 will now be from July 27 through July 30, 2015.
