Arthur V. Ormond L&D - Due to high flows on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, the Arthur V. Ormond Lock (No. 9) NM 176.9 is closed to traffic. The lock will reopen as the flows drop to safe navigation levels.

Arthur V. Ormond L&D - The Arthur V. Ormond Lock (No. 9) NM 176.9 has reopened to Navigation traffic. The lock was closed due to high flows on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. The flows have now dropped to safe levels to operate the lock.

Toad Suck Ferry L&D - Toad Suck Ferry Lock (No. 8) NM 155.9 has reopened to Navigation traffic. The lock was closed due to high flows on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. The flows have now dropped to safe levels to operate the lock.

MKARNS NAV NOTICE SWL 15-19 Notice of Safety Zone

MKARNS - To ensure the safety of life and property during the Riverfest fireworks display in Little Rock, AR, a safety zone will be established by the Coast Guard for the Arkansas River from mile marker 118.8 to mile marker 119.5. The safety zone will be in effect from 9:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on 24 May 2015.
