  • NAV NOTICE SWL 12-56 - MKARNS - LOCK CLOSURE

    MURRAY L&D - Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 will be closed to navigation traffic on January 9, 2013 from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. This closure is to perform rewiring work on the hydraulic controls.
  • NAV NOTICE SWL 12-55 MKARNS - TOW HAULAGE EQUIPMENT OUT OF SERVICE

    MURRAY L&D - Tow haulage equipment at Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 will be out of service on January 7, 2013 from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. for maintenance and repairs. Double cut tows will have to be locked the conventional way (without the use of tow haulage).

    The navigation pass at Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5) is expected to be reopened to navigation traffic at noon on December 15, 2012.
  • NAV NOTICE SWL 12-53 - MKARNS - CHANGE IN SCHEDULED CLOSURE DATES

    MONTGOMERY POINT L&D - The date of the scheduled closure of Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5) HAS CHANGED to 1 a.m. on December 1 through 11 p.m. on December 21, 2012.
  • NAV NOTICE SWL 12-52 - MKARNS - INTERMITTENT DELAYS POSSIBLE

    MONTGOMERY POINT L&D - Mariners are advised the crest gates are raised and the navigation pass at Montgomery Point Lock & Dam (NM 0.5) is closed. All vessels are required to pass through the lock. Intermittent delays are possible as the Corps of Engineers Floating Plants and divers perform preparatory actions for the lock dewatering scheduled Nov. 26.
  • NAV NOTICE SWL 12-49 - MKARNS - SCHEDULED CLOSURE

    MONTGOMERY POINT L&D - Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5) is scheduled to be closed to Navigation traffic from 1 a.m. on November 26 through 11 p.m. on December 16, 2012. The lock is scheduled to be closed during this timeframe for dewatering to make repairs to the land wall miter gates.
  • NAV NOTICE SWL 12-44 - MKARNS - SCHEDULED DAILY CLOSURES

    OZARK-JETA TAYLOR L&D and JAMES W. TRIMBLE L&D - Effective 01 October 2012, Ozark-Jeta Taylor Lock and Dam (No. 12) NM 256.8 and James W. Trimble Lock and Dam (No. 13) NM 292.8 will be taken out of service daily for a 4-hour maintenance period. The maintenance period is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. each day, but may be delayed to complete a lockage that is underway, or to lock a commercial vessel that is within the arrival area before 8 a.m. Once begun, the maintenance period will continue for a full 4 hours.
