CORPS LIFTS SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR MOST OF ARKANSAS RIVER

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers has lifted the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River from the Arkansas-Oklahoma state-line to Sanders Lock and Dam in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second.

CORPS SEEKS COMMENTS ON PROPOSED AQUATIC ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION PROJECT FOR CENTRAL ARKANSAS WATER

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District is accepting comments through Aug. 30 to assist in the preparation and evaluation of a study to restore the aquatic ecosystem, owned by Central Arkansas Water, along the Maumelle River in Pulaski County.

ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 187 BRIDGE ACROSS BEAVER LAKE DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE

ROGERS, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers will close one lane of Highway 187 across Beaver Dam in Carroll County from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. July 25, weather permitting, to conduct a routine bridge inspection.

CORPS WARNS RESIDENTS ABOUT RELEASES FROM DIERKS DAM

Little Rock, Ark. – Recent heavy rains produced from the remnants of Hurricane Barry is filling the flood pool at Dierks Lake requiring the Army Corps of Engineers to begin releases from the lake between 10 p.m. and midnight, July 16.
