    MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 25-41 Lock 9 Closure - High flows

    Due to high flows on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, the Arthur V. Ormond Lock (No. 9) NM 176.9 is closed to traffic. The lock will reopen as the flows drop to safe navigation levels.

    Little Rock District announces reduction in services at Table Rock Lake

    BRANSON, Mo. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is preparing to temporarily adjust services at Table Rock Lake beginning June 13, 2025, because of staffing shortages and safety concerns. This proactive measure is for visitor safety and will allow USACE to focus resources on other priority areas.

    BRANSON, Mo. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will begin spillway releases from Table Rock Dam around 10:30 a.m. June 9, 2025, to evacuate flood storage from recent rainfall.

    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and City of Russellville host groundbreaking for the Russellville Flood Risk Management Project – Prairie Creek Reach

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District and the City of Russellville hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the Prairie Creek Reach of the Russellville Flood Management Project, June 5, 2025. The Russellville Flood Risk Management Project began in 2010 at the request of the City of Russellville under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Continuing Authorities Program Section 205 authority. The goal of the project is to reduce frequent flooding in the downtown Russellville area.

    MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 25-40 Lock 13 Closure Notice

    A partial lock closure is scheduled for James W. Trible Lock (No. 13) NM 292.8 beginning June 15th, 2025, through September 30th, 2025. During this time, the Lock will be closed daily between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The lock will be opened to traffic each night between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., however a 70-ft width restriction will be in place.

    A partial lock closure is scheduled for Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5 beginning June 15th, 2025, through September 30th, 2025. During this time, the Lock will be closed daily between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The Lock will be opened to traffic each night between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., however a 70-ft width restriction will be in place.
