    Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Mr. Don Bradley, Central Arkansas Intermodal Authority, 117 South Moose Street, Morrilton, Arkansas 72110 has requested authorization for work including the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the construction of a river-port facility on the Arkansas River near Morrilton to provide multi-modal service and support for industrial development in both Conway and Perry Counties, Arkansas. The port will be utilized by local commercial entities, including Green Bay Packaging, to enhance shipping and transport, thus improving the immediate economic viability of the area.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Mr. Brad Fischer, Summit Utilities of Arkansas, Inc., 1400 Centerview Drive, Suite 100, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211 has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the installation of approximately 4,405 linear feet of 6-inch-diameter natural gas pipeline to replace an existing 4,370 linear feet of 4-inch-diameter pipeline to increase gas flow to provide reliable natural gas service to existing residential and commercial customers in Newport, Arkansas, as well as promote economic growth opportunities for future customers.

    Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Mr. Chris McCollum, Brickshy’s White River Resort, Post Office Box 1254, Mountain View, Arkansas 72560, has requested authorization for work including the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with periodic maintenance dredging of gravel within two boat channels at their dock location on the White River. Area 1 would be maintained to approximately 20-feet-wide by 95-feet-long by 3-feet-deep (~0.043 acres). Area 2 would be maintained to approximately 20-feet-wide by 140-feet-long by 3-feet-deep (~0.064 acres).

    Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Mr. Stan Snodgrass, City of Fort Smith, 623 Garrison Avenue, Fort Smith, AR 72901 has requested authorization for work including the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the regrading of Mill Creek to a 2:1 slope along approximately 3,295 linear feet. Approximately 0.67 cubic yards per linear feet of riprap will be placed along the bank. Heavy equipment such as excavator and backhoes will be used in uplands adjacent to Mill Creek to complete this project.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Mr. Dan Christensen, Central Arkansas Recycling & Disposal Services, LLC, 1457A East Robinson Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the expansion of the CARDS Landfill. The proposed project would discharge approximately 6,165 cubic yards of fill material into 3.82 acres of wetlands, approximately 486 linear feet of ephemeral streams, 74 linear feet of intermittent streams, and 80 linear feet of intermittent streams and 92 linear feet of perennial streams would be piped.
