    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, HAS ISSUED GP-45, authorizing the discharge of dredged or fill material, in the State of Missouri, associated with activities designed to improve water quality, improve fish and wildlife habitat, maintain recreational value, and extend the lifespan of man-made lakes and ponds. This permit authorizes the removal and discharge of lakebed/pond sediment in conjunction with mechanical dredging, hydraulic dredging (including return water from such activities) and excavation activities.

Box 159, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72115, has requested authorization for work, including the placement of dredged and fill material, in waters of the United States associated with dredging of the forebay area at the Murray Hydroelectric Generation Facility (MHGF)to restore the original design and constructed contours for efficiency of hydroelectric generation. The proposed project is located in the Arkansas River, Navigation Mile 125.4 on the left descending bank, in the NE 1/4 of section 24, T. 2 N., R. 13 W., North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

On August 26, 2020, the Little Rock District Corps of Engineers requested Delegation of Authority Associated with Alternative (Emergency) Permit Processing Procedures in Little Rock District (SWL) associated with impacts resulting from Hurricane Laura.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Department of Transportation, 10324 Interstate 30, PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-2261, has requested authorization for work, including the placement of dredged and fill material, in waters of the United States associated with constructing a new overpass over Interstate 40 (I-40) and the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR), and relocating a portion of State Highway 89 at Mayflower. The proposed project is located in section 25, T. 4 N., R. 14. W., and in sections 19, 20 and 30, T. 4 N., R. 13 W., Faulkner County, Arkansas. The project purpose is to construct a new overpass over the railroad and interstate in order to improve safety, eliminate delays and better facilitate the flow of traffic on State Highway 89 through the Mayflower area.
