    USACE conducts boundary line maintenance on Lake Dardanelle and Ozark Lake

    RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Russellville Site Office is advising landowners adjacent to public lands around Lake Dardanelle and Ozark Lake that contract maintenance crews will be conducting boundary line maintenance along a 36.5-mile section of government boundary at Lake Dardanelle and a 14.5-mile section at Ozark Lake.

    USACE announces new date for Beaver Lake land acquisition plan public workshop

    ROGERS, Ark. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting a drop-in public workshop from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 16 at the Four Points by Sheraton Bentonville, 211 SE Walton Blvd., Bentonville, Arkansas to discuss the process to acquire private land parcels that are frequently inundated by Beaver Lake during normal lake elevations and make comments about the Draft Environmental Assessment. All interested persons are invited to attend the workshop.

    USACE lifts small craft advisory for Arkansas River

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is lifting the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Small craft advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second. While flows have receded, USACE officials urge boaters to always use caution when on the river.

    USACE and Pulaski County to close Big Dam Bridge for inspection

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. –The Big Dam Bridge, across Murray Lock and Dam, will be closed to all traffic from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. March 14 -18 for a routine bridge inspection.

    USACE postpones public workshop and comment period for Beaver Land Acquisition Study

    ROGERS, Ark. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District is postponing the Beaver Land Acquisition public workshop scheduled for March 1 in Bentonville, Arkansas. The public comment period scheduled to run from Feb. 23 to March 25 is also being postponed until USACE can reschedule the workshop.
