Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 will be closed to navigation traffic today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This unplanned closure will allow for emergency repairs to a damaged plug valve in the upstream landwall sector gear pit. If the work is completed ahead of schedule, the lock will reopen at that time. However, unforeseen problems could require additional time.
