MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has released the final revised Norfork Lake Master Plan and associated Environmental Assessment.

The public is invited to visit the Norfork Lake Master Plan revision webpage to view the final revised Norfork Lake Master Plan and Environmental Assessment at https://go.usa.gov/x7bXZ.

Because of the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, USACE will not hold traditional final release public workshops.

The master plan for Norfork Lake is the guidance document that describes how the resources of the lake will be managed in the future and provides the vision for how the lake should look in the future.

Additionally, USACE will begin accepting shoreline use requests from March 4 to close of business on May 1.  Shoreline Use requests on Norfork Lake were suspended on May 1, 2020, to establish a baseline of the lake while revising its 33-year-old master plan.

Once the recreation season ends on Sep. 30 the Mountain Home Project Office will begin accepting shoreline use requests annually from Oct. 1 through April 30.
