    White River - This is to advise mariners transiting the White River Entrance Channel (WREC) of increased head differentials between Norrell Lock and Dam and Montgomery Point Lock and Dam.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District is hosting a public workshop Feb. 5 to discuss the partial closure of Lick Creek Park because of budget constraints. The park’s boat launch ramp and parking lot will remain open.

    NAV NOTICE SWL 14-04 MKARNS - River Closure at NM300.8

    MKARNS - The U.S. Coast Guard has closed the Arkansas River to navigation traffic at the Van Buren Railroad Drawbridge (NM 300.8). The Railroad expects the bridge will be lifted by January 28, 2014. At that time, traffic will be allowed to pass.

    Ozark Isle Park Causeway to Temporarily Close

    Mountain Home, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers’ Mountain Home Project Office is closing the causeway at Ozark Isle Park on Bull Shoals Lake beginning Monday, Jan. 27. The road into the park will be closed for about one month while maintenance crews repair the road.

    NAV NOTICE SWL 14-03 MKARNS - Lock 10 Intermittent Delays and Closure

    DARDANELLE L & D - Mariners are advised that intermittent delays may be experienced at Dardanelle Lock and Dam (No. 10) NM 205.5 today until noon and the lock will be closed to traffic from noon until 6 p.m. This closure is due to an unscheduled dive inspection of the downstream gates.

    CORPS POSTPONES LANE CLOSURE OF HIGHWAY 60 ACROSS TOAD SUCK LOCK AND DAM

    CONWAY, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers is postponing the Jan. 14-15 lane closure of Highway 60 across Toad Suck Lock and Dam. The rescheduled closure dates will be publicized in the coming weeks.

    JOE HARDIN LOCK & DAM - Tow haulage equipment at Joe Hardin Lock (No. 3) will be out of service for repairs starting this afternoon. Double cut tows will have to be locked the conventional way (without the use of tow haulage).

    ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 60 ACROSS TOAD SUCK LOCK AND DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE IN JANUARY

    CONWAY, Ark. – One lane of Highway 60 across Toad Suck Lock and Dam will be closed from 8 a.m. till 4 p.m. Jan. 14-15. During the lane closure maintenance will be performed on the dam.
