NAV NOTICE SWL 12-52 - MKARNS - INTERMITTENT DELAYS POSSIBLE
MONTGOMERY POINT L&D - Mariners are advised the crest gates are raised and the navigation pass at Montgomery Point Lock & Dam (NM 0.5) is closed. All vessels are required to pass through the lock. Intermittent delays are possible as the Corps of Engineers Floating Plants and divers perform preparatory actions for the lock dewatering scheduled Nov. 26.
ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 25 ACROSS GREERS FERRY DAM
HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – One lane of Highway 25 across Greers Ferry Dam will close temporarily for four weeks beginning Nov. 26.

Little Rock, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers’ Little Rock District website will be unavailable from 1 p.m. Nov. 9 until 7 a.m. Nov. 13 due to scheduled building maintenance.
TABLE ROCK MASTER PLAN REVISIONS REQUIRE TEMPORARY HALT TO SHORELINE MANAGEMENT REQUESTS
Branson, Mo. -- The Army Corps of Engineers’ Table Rock Project Office will suspend shoreline activity requests beginning Dec. 1 to establish a baseline of the lake for officials to use while revising its 36-year-old master plan.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, will host four public workshops in November to discuss ways to increase the continued reliability of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System.
IMPROVEMENTS TEMPORARILY CLOSE JOSH PARK MEMORIAL TRAIL
HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – The Josh Park Memorial Trail will be closed from Nov. 5, 2012, to March 1, 2013, while the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers enhances the popular trail for users. Improvements will include selective thinning of nearby pine stands.

NAV NOTICE SWL 12-49 - MKARNS - SCHEDULED CLOSURE
MONTGOMERY POINT L&D - Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5) is scheduled to be closed to Navigation traffic from 1 a.m. on November 26 through 11 p.m. on December 16, 2012. The lock is scheduled to be closed during this timeframe for dewatering to make repairs to the land wall miter gates.

BRANSON, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers Table Rock Lake Project Office will undergo renovations from Oct. 26 through Dec. 28.
NON-TOXIC ALGAE APPEARING ON BEAVER LAKE
ROGERS, Ark. -- With air temperatures changing and the fall season upon us, many folks are still enjoying all that Beaver Lake has to offer. Some visitors have noticed algal blooms floating on the surface of various areas of Beaver Lake.
