    CORPS BEGINS SPILLWAY RELEASES AT BEAVER LAKE

    ROGERS, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will open three spillway gates one-half foot at Beaver Dam this morning by 10 a.m.

    MKARNS - Colonel Charles D. Maynard Lock (No. 5) NM 86.3 will be closed to navigation traffic on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System from 6 a.m. on March 25 until 6 a.m. on March 26, and from 6 a.m. on March 27 until 6 a.m. on March 28. These closures are to replace sections of hydraulic piping.

    Corps issues small craft advisory for portion of Arkansas River

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers issues a small craft advisory for the Arkansas River downstream of Dardanelle Lock and Dam. Recent rains in Arkansas and Oklahoma have caused flows to rise. During high flows, strong currents and large debris can threaten the safety of pleasure craft.

    BRANSON, Mo. – The Corps of Engineers will close both lanes of Highway 165 across Table Rock Dam from 8 p.m. March 16 until 6 a.m. March 17 and again at 8 p.m. March 17 until 6 a.m. March 18 to install equipment needed to refurbish the dam’s head gates.
