    Greers Ferry Lake 2019 Campground Schedule

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. --- The Army Corps of Engineers, Greers Ferry Project Office opened Choctaw, Dam Site, Devils Fork, Heber Springs, John F. Kennedy and Old Highway 25 parks on March 15 and they will be open through Oct. 31 for the 2019 camping season.

    CORPS TO OPEN PARKS FOR SEASON ON TABLE ROCK LAKE

    BRANSON, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Table Rock Project Office will open its first round of campgrounds April 1. These parks include Cricket Creek, Campbell Point, Cape Fair, Indian Point, Mill Creek, and Old Highway 86.

    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers will begin spillway releases April 1 from Greers Ferry Dam as part of the ongoing effort to evacuate water captured during heavy February and March rains.

    CORPS LIFTS SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR ARKANSAS RIVER

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers has lifted the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second. Even though flows have receded below that threshold, Corps officials urge boaters to always use caution when on the river.

    CORPS TO MAKE RELEASES THROUGH SPILLWAY AT NORFORK DAM

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will make spillway releases from Norfork Dam from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. today to compensate for one generator which had to be taken off-line.

    MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 19-10 Possible Obstruction in Navigation Pass Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5)

    MKARNS - Mariners are advised to use caution when using the navigation pass at Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5). A 45-foot light pole atop the navigation pass abutment pier was knocked over the night of March 22, 2019. The pole is now submerged and may be on the port side (facing downstream) of the navigation pass.

    ASHDOWN, Ark. – One lane of Highway 32 bridge across Millwood Dam will be closed for routine bridge inspection from 8:30 a.m. till 2 p.m. March 26.
