    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Mr. Jeff Farmer, 5101 Whellis Drive, Suite 310, Memphis, Tennessee 38117, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the development of four Green Tree Reservoirs (GTRs). The proposed project would involve the construction of 13,255 linear feet of levees and the inundation of approximately 580 acres of bottomland hardwood forested wetlands with multiple associated slough areas, which would encompass four units. Impacts to waters of the United States would include approximately 23 linear feet of an intermittent stream channel and 11.55 acres of bottomland hardwood forested wetlands consisting of 5.63 acres of fill (approximately 17,675 cubic yards) and 5.92 acres of dredging. The basic purpose of the project is to inundate wooded areas to provide waterfowl hunting opportunities. The overall purpose of the project is to create GTRs, which would enhance the forested wetland areas and create a more dependable habitat for waterfowl in the fall. The construction of a GTR is water dependent.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with replacing the bridge over Mill Creek and straightening the approaches. The proposed project is located approximately two miles south of the City of Yellville in section 21, T. 18 N., R. 16 W., Marion County, Arkansas. Total length of the project is approximately 0.2 miles and the majority of construction would be on new alignment. The basic purpose of the project is to replace a structurally deficient bridge. The overall purpose of the project is to upgrade the bridge and approaches on State Highway 14 and make the roadway safer for travel.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Mr. Boyce Holmes, Bullwinkle LLC,68 Montague Court, Little Rock, Arkansas 72223, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the construction of a 15-acre residential development referred to as LaMarche Gardens, consisting of approximately 55 single-family homes, in west Little Rock, Arkansas. The proposed project would impact (fill) and relocate approximately 2,814 linear feet of jurisdictional ephemeral streams. A total of 0.2 acres of waters of the United States would be impacted. Water flow enters the project area through ephemeral streams that originate in a residential area immediately south of the project property. The ephemeral streams converge on the northeast corner of the property and flow under LaMarche Drive to the east. After passing under LaMarche Drive, flows pass through an existing mitigation area located on the east side of LaMarche Drive then north through two unnamed tributaries to the Little Maumelle River and then into the Arkansas River. The proposed project is located south of Cantrell Road on the west side of LaMarche Drive, in the SW 1/4 of section 24, T. 2 N., R. 14 W., Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District (as the lead district), in conjunction with the St. Louis District, Rock Island District, Little Rock District, and Memphis District, HAS REISSUED Regional General Permit GP-34M for Sand and Gravel Excavation Activities in Waters of the United States within the State of Missouri under the authority of Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 USC 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 USC 1344).

    Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Donna Fill, Incorporated, PO Box 9054, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72119, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the continuation of their commercial sand and gravel dredging operations. The operation is located on the Arkansas River, between Navigation Miles 108.7 and 111.7 upstream of David D. Terry Lock and Dam, in Pulaski County, Arkansas. A commercial dredging permit has been authorized in this reach of the Arkansas River since 1981, and authorizes dredging both within the navigation channel and within an area adjacent to the navigation channel. The permit would be extended for a period of five (5) years, through December 31, 2021.
