Picnicking

Picnicking facilities are available in many parks and are often located near playgrounds and designated swimming areas. Many picnic areas afford scenic views of the lake. Group shelters are ideal for family gatherings and offer electricity and barbecue grills. Parks with picnic shelters include Gamaliel, Bidwell Point, Henderson, Panther Bay, Cranfield, Quarry, and Jordan. These shelters may be reserved through the National Recreation Reservation Service.
