    Mariners are advised that a hydrodemolition project is scheduled over the navigation span of the HWY 64 Bridge, NM 300.4, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 3, 2025. During this time mariners should contact the onsite workboat at VHF Channel 16 or 68, or by phone at (479) 629-2996 prior to arrival to coordinate a work stoppage to allow for safe passage under the bridge.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 25-21 Lock 9 DS Appr- Sailing Instruction Lifted

    The sailing instructions for both upbound and downbound tows to favor the long wall in the downstream approach to Arthur V. Ormond Lock (No. 9) NM 176.9, noted in Nav Notice SWL 24-19, have been lifted.

    The tow haulage equipment at James W. Trimble (No. 13) NM 292.8 has been repaired and returned to service.
  • PUBLIC NOTICE: USACE explains boat launch closure at Table Rock Resorts at Kimberling

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District is issuing a public statement to set the record straight regarding the closing of the private boat launch ramp at Table Rock Resorts at Kimberling, formerly Kimberling Inn.
  • Webb Creek Campground Closed Due to Storm Damage

    PIEDMONT, Mo. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Clearwater Lake Project Office is closing Webb Creek Campground and day-use area until further notice to assess storm damage. Officials estimate the closure could last an extended period.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 25-19 Lock 6 Closure

    Mariners are advised that David D. Terry Lock (No. 6) NM 108.1 will be closed to traffic beginning at 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on March 28, 2025. The lock closure is required to facilitate ongoing work on the hydraulic system.
  • USACE removes swim beaches at Rocky Branch and Lost Bridge South campgrounds

    ROGERS, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Beaver Lake Project Office is permanently removing swim beaches at Rocky Branch and Lost Bridge South campgrounds because of erosion, safety and maintenance issues, and user conflicts due to high-water levels over the last decade. These areas will remain open for shoreline access.
  • Warning Horn Below Table Rock Dam Not Operational

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers advises all individuals downstream of Table Rock Dam that the warning horn, which typically signals changes in water levels, is not operational. While the horn at the dam continues to function and will sound before any water level changes, those farther downstream may not hear it.
  • Single lane closure scheduled for Highway 177 across Norfork Dam

    – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is scheduling a single lane closure of Highway 177 across Norfork Dam starting at 6 a.m. March 26, 2025, and continuing through late July 2025, for routine maintenance.
  • USACE lifts small craft advisory for Arkansas River

    – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is lifting the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Small craft advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second.
