President’s FY22 Budget: $268.3 million for Little Rock District projects
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, reports that the President’s Fiscal Year 2022 Budget includes $268.3 million in federal funding for the district’s civil works program.

Temporary lane closure of Highway 165 across Table Rock Dam
BRANSON, Mo. – One lane of the Highway 165 bridge across Table Rock Dam will close from 2 a.m. until noon May 14 to conduct road maintenance.
Dewey Short Visitor Center opens for the season
The Dewey Short Visitor Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning May 15. Masks and social distancing are required per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and commonly touched surfaces will be routinely sanitized throughout the day by park staff.
USACE schedules boundary line maintenance on Nimrod and Blue Mountain lakes
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nimrod-Blue Mountain Project Office is advising landowners adjacent to public lands around Nimrod and Blue Mountain lakes that contract maintenance crews will be conducting boundary line maintenance on a 20-mile section of government boundary.
The MKARNS Master Plan revision requires temporary halt to shoreline management requests at Lake Dardanelle
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District is suspending shoreline activity requests beginning May 17 for Lake Dardanelle to establish a baseline for officials to use while revising the 40-year-old McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System Master Plan.
