Corps urges public to keep off Arkansas’ levees

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District is urging the community to keep off of levees throughout Arkansas after historic amounts of water saturated the levees.

CORPS REOPENS SWIM BEACHES ON BEAVER LAKE

ROGERS, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Beaver Lake Project Office has reopened swim beaches at Hickory Creek and Prairie Creek parks and the Rocky Branch camping area swim beach on Beaver Lake. The Horseshoe Bend Day Use Area no longer has a higher than acceptable level of E. coli but remains closed because of high water.
