SEPTEMBER 17 MARKS END OF SUMMER FOR GREERS FERRY LAKE

HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – Fall is quickly approaching and with it the end of the summer recreation season at Greers Ferry Lake. There are still several days to enjoy all that the lake has to offer. Cooler temperatures reduce traffic allowing visitors to take advantage of many recreational opportunities with a more relaxing approach.

END OF 2012 RECREATION SEASON

PIEDMONT, Mo. -- Labor Day may signal the end of the official recreation season, but many beautiful days remain to enjoy your public lands at Clearwater Lake. NAV NOTICE SWL 12-44 - MKARNS - SCHEDULED DAILY CLOSURES

OZARK-JETA TAYLOR L&D and JAMES W. TRIMBLE L&D - Effective 01 October 2012, Ozark-Jeta Taylor Lock and Dam (No. 12) NM 256.8 and James W. Trimble Lock and Dam (No. 13) NM 292.8 will be taken out of service daily for a 4-hour maintenance period. The maintenance period is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. each day, but may be delayed to complete a lockage that is underway, or to lock a commercial vessel that is within the arrival area before 8 a.m. Once begun, the maintenance period will continue for a full 4 hours.
