LITTLE ROCK, Ark -- The Army Corps of Engineers' Little Rock District is seeking public comments through March 3 on a proposed plan and environmental assessment related to a flood risk reduction project on Jordan Creek in Springfield, Mo.

The documents include an integrated Draft Feasibility Report and Environmental Assessment with a Draft Finding of No Significant Impact.  The draft documents indicate the proposed work would cause no significant adverse effects to the human environment, and an Environmental Impact Statement would not be required.

Report copies are available for review at all Springfield public libraries as well as the Little Rock District Office in Room 7403 of the Federal Building at 700 W. Capitol Ave. in Little Rock.  The documents can also be reviewed on the Internet at
